Phoseon’s UV Light Systems are more intense, cleaner, cooler, longer-lasting, and more energy efficient–with no lamps

Phoseon’s UV Light Systems are based on Phoseon’s Semiconductor Light Matrix (SLM) technology and provide uniform, high-intensity UV light output similar to multi-kilowatt arc lamps but do so while consuming a fraction of the energy and providing a pure UV spectral distribution. In addition, SLM light sources have much longer life cycles than traditional UV lamp technologies.

Not only does Phoseon’s patent-pending SLM technology provide significant advantages over arc lamp and microwave technology in numerous existing applications, it also enables new UV curing applications. Phoseon’s family of SLM-based UV light systems can be operated as stand alone exposure and curing systems or can be easily integrated into other equipment.

The RX Starfire MAX UV light system is designed as a water cooled high intensity UV light “bar” with configurable emitting lengths of 75mm, 150mm and 300mm with an emitting width of 20mm.   The RX Starfire MAX is suitable for a wide variety of applications including inkjet and coatings markets and can be easily integrated into production systems.

 

The RX Starfire UV light system is designed as an air cooled high intensity UV light “bar” with configurable emitting lengths of 100mm and 150mm with an emitting width of 20mm.   The RX Starfire is suitable for a wide variety of applications that require an air cooled narrow width UV Light Source.

 

The RX Firefly is a compact, high-intensity UV light system for small area curing with an emitting area of 25x25mm.    Its compact size makes the RX Firefly an excellent choice for integration into equipment for UV spot curing applications.

The RX Firefly has a 1/4 - 20 mounting hole for easy setup for benchtop testing, and Phoseon offers two stand options. 

Adjustable Arm: 

Attach RX Firefly to adjustable arm and then position to any desired location and lock into place by simply rotating the lever.

 

 

Adjustable Stand:

Attach RX Firefly to post which can be adjusted up or down.

The RX 20 is an excellent choice for integration into equipment and conveyers.  The RX 20 can be easily integrated into production systems and is particularly suitable for applications in the Semiconductor and DVD/CD markets.

 

Phoseon's UV Power Meter is the right tool for the monitoring of UV irradiance of SLM systems.  Setting up a process using Phoseon's RX Series Light sources to be within an acceptable process window will ensure the most cost effective curing with less energy and less heat.
