Bill Cortelyou, President & CEO

Prior to joining Phoseon, Bill spent nearly 20 years at Integrated Device Technology (IDT) in various engineering, managerial, and executive positions, culminating in the position of Vice President of Operations.  Since retiring from IDT in 2001, he has been investing in and advising technology companies, and was an early investor in Phoseon.  Prior to IDT, Mr. Cortelyou was an engineer for Advanced Micro Devices.  He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from San Francisco State University.

Chris O'Leary, CFO

Chris is a co-founder of the company and has 20 years of experience in finance and supply chain management at Intel, Mentor Graphics, Credence Systems and ITXC.  He has been instrumental in establishing financial and operational controls in high growth organizations, including assignments in Japan and Europe.  Chris holds a BS in Management from Northeastern University, and an MBA from the University of Portland.  Chris enjoys being active and has completed multiple marathons and triathlons.

Tom Molamphy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Tom has over 15 years experience in the electronics manufacturing industry where he has held a variety of positions in sales, product marketing and engineering. Most recently Tom was a Product Manager for the Manufacturing Test Business Unit group at Agilent Technologies with a focus on Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and X-Ray Inspection products. He has also held key sales roles at MVT and Merix Corporation as well as Manufacturing Enginnering roles at Tektronix and EG&G Instruments. Tom holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Production Engineering.

Alex Basauri, Director of Manufacturing

Alex has over 10 years of high volume manufacturing experience in the Semiconductor and Photonics industries holding various managerial positions in R&D, Process Development and Manufacturing Engineering.  He has worked extensively in both, captive and contract manufacturing environments managing domestic operations and several overseas projects.  His management and engineering career experience includes previous positions at nLight,  Flextronics Photonics, IPAC and ChipPAC. Alex holds a BSEE and MSEE degrees from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  Alex is married and enjoys traveling with his family and visiting his native Mexico.

Scott Igl, Director of Engineering

Scott has over 14 years experience in in both established as well as start-up company environments with expertise in mechanical design.  He has been awarded 12 patents covering fiber optic communications and high power lasers.  He managed a multi-disciplinary product development team to bring high power laser diode products to market for nLight Corp.  In addition, he spent eight years with 3M where he managed fiber optic technology projects.  Scott holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.  Scott is married with two children.
