UV LED curing solutions from Phoseon offer many benefits to printers and converters that make it an appealing option for any size operation. If you are interested in utilizing UV LED technology, consider both the quality of the UV LED system and also the capability of the company. The product must work within your machine, process, or factory requirements.
The FirePower™ FP601 water-cooled solution cures UV LED flexo inks at speeds of 750fpm (230m/min) or higher. With increased durability, the FirePower is IP54 rated for increased protection. Integration into restricted spaces is now possible with the smaller form factor. Installation is simple because no tools are required for power, data and water connections. Equipment providers can use the advanced communications features provided via Ethernet-based Modbus/TCP capability.
The FirePower™ FP501 water-cooled solution cures UV LED flexo inks at speeds of up to 750fpm (230m/min) with a form factor ideal for integrating into flexo presses.
For older flexo press retrofits that have other speed limitations (for instance, speeds only up to 500fpm or 150m/min), the Phoseon FireJet™ FJ200 air-cooled solution may be a preferred option. The FireJet does not require a water chiller, and is scalable to cover any print width by stacking units together.

The Flex Tower provides a modular power and control system for flexo and narrow web, with easy installation for retrofit or new equipment. The modules include power distribution, control (both user interface and press integration), and a power supply for each light source. All modules within the tower fit a standard 19” rack mount system. Each can be used stand-alone or configured as a system. The user interface can be located in the tower or mounted on the press.
The modular design allows customers to start with a few stations for the most difficult to cure colors (for instance one for opaque whites and one for dense blacks). After proving the advantages on just one or two stations customers will want the full benefit of UV LED technology. Additional modules can be added to the Flex Tower to upgrade the rest of the press
